Local Rules and Orders

The Local Rules Committee for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware invites comments and suggested revisions to the Local Rules aimed at developing and improving the rules and procedures of the Delaware Bankruptcy Court. Comments and suggested revisions may be emailed to debml_Local_Rules@deb.uscourts.gov. Submissions are not confidential. They will be discussed by the Local Rules Committee and, as necessary, shared with the Delaware Bankruptcy Court and other members of the bar. Questions may be directed to Kimberly A. Effective February 1, 2025, there are no longer General Chambers Procedures. These procedures have been superseded by the 2025 amendments to the Local Rules. Please refer to these rules and any chambers procedures of individual judges going forward.
