GENERAL ORDER
 
RE: LACK OF APPROPRIATIONS DUE TO ANTI-DEFICIENCY ACT, 31 U.S.C. §1341, ET. SEQ., IN ALL CASES BEFORE THE HONORABLE CHRISTOPHER S. SONTCHI
 
WHEREAS the Court, in all cases before The Honorable Christopher S. Sontchi,
due to the partial shutdown of the federal government that began on December 22, 2018 and
continues through the date of this order;
 
NOW, THEREFORE, HEREBY ORDERS THAT:
 
1. The Court shall not conduct hearings nor enter orders on retention
applications, fee applications or final decrees until further notice, unless and until the Department
of Justice through the Office of the United States Trustee has the opportunity to comment and/or
object to the entry of such orders.
 
2. Cases and proceedings where the United States is a party, and where the
government is a party in interest represented by counsel affected by the shutdown, will be
evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
